St Annes – Photo Course

Having missed the evening shoot on my photo course, I stopped at St Annes on the way back for the second day and spent ten minutes shooting the old pier. Not the most inspiring light, overcast and flat but useful for practising post processing. Here is the result.

Abandoned Farm on the Roaches

Following a photography course last weekend which kicked the photography urge back in we made the most of a free weekend and drove up to the South West Peak District with friends. Sunset Silhouette (Lumix LX5)

I shot this evening silhouette while testing out the newest addition to our photography kit, the Panasonic Lumix LX5. We picked up a display model at a great price as a carry everywhere (well most places) compact camera but with more scope for creative control. I originally posted this (and other shots) on flickr.
