Managed to get a couple of shots this afternoon as he lay on the bed and also while Mel entertained him with some string. Shot with natural light through the bay windows (massive catchlights in his eyes that I both like and dislike – weird). There wan’t much light though so shot with ISO of 800 and upwards with 70-200 and kept aperture wide open (or near enough) at f/2.8 to f/4.

Tried to keep focus on eyes which is awkward with a cat in play or trying to close his eyes for a nap, hoping the human slave with the camera pointed at him will bog off and let him get some sleep.

Here’s one shot, not the sharpest but I like it anyway, other photos on a flickr set.
